Facebook is a marketing engine that allows you to add adverts to its database to allow you to pay for your advertising. Facebook is the biggest database collection in the history of information which before was totally inaccessible. These days you can put an add on Facebook in front of millions if not billions of people and it’s the perfect way to get your product out there to your audience at a low cost.
When it comes to selling online, it’s tempting to write like you’re on stage at a conference. But if you want to be effective, you must write as though you’re writing to one person and one person alone. This person, your target, is the one you need to woo and persuade.
Just as though you were an in-person salesperson, you need to focus all your attention on this person and their needs. On your website, you must write a copy that speaks to all potential customers, and you probably have a few different personas.
On Facebook, you can narrowly target your audience. For example, you can target your ads to women who are over 30 that live in the U.K. and are interested in fitness and wellness. Then you can write targeted ads that speak to that very specific audience.
Why Facebook Advertising Works so Well.
There are tons of users on Facebook but sending an ad out into the void doesn’t result in tons of conversions. The key to Facebook’s advertising is targeting. Facebook has the best ad targeting of any site.
This targeting allows you to get super specific about what audience your ad reaches. If you sell garden hoses, you can reach people who are interested in vegetable gardens and home improvement. If you sell software as a service, you can target those who’ve visited a landing page on your website.
Here are some of the ways you can target your ads on Facebook
- Custom audiences – allows you to target existing customers or leads
- Location – allows you to target by location (city, state, country)
- Gender – allows you to target by gender (male or female)
- Interests – allows you to target by interest (such as fitness, entrepreneurship, fashion, literature)
The reason we use Facebook adds is for R.O.I (Return on Investment) You spend £10 and earn £20 return or £100 and earn £200 return. SEO takes much longer to return the money with a six-month wait or more as you work with keywords and content-based optimization for your website to reach higher ranking on search engines. I’m not saying this is a bad thing but it’s not going to get quick results.
Facebook ads mean your open to a worldwide audience from the word go. As soon as your ad goes live your audience begins to read your authoritative content to check out your product or services.
The more you test your audience the more your business grows with your funnels kicking in. Your Product Launch Formula through email marketing collects data for business promotion through advertising of your product with sequenced emails that offer free gifts such as an eBook or presentation. If you’re not familiar with the Product Launch Formula read Jeff Walker’s ‘The Launch’.
There are over two billion users on Facebook although not all of them are businesses, data is gathered for Facebook’s marketing and advertising engine to fetch trends and analytics about what’s selling where and which product is more popular than the other and what kind of people in which place buy the product and even why customers buy certain products.
It collects data on people with certain hobbies and professional sports programs they may be in. Facebook collects pretty much everything about us that can improve the future of marketing for us and their own billion-dollar business. It’s for some people a little too much to handle with a person’s information been used, however, it’s the future of the internet as far as marketing goes.
It’s no different to when you launch your Opt-In and Five Offer Funnel, collecting data such as name and email address so that you can reply with your core product in mind.
There are over two billion users on Facebook, and it allows you to direct your product in front of any niche market and it allows you to advertise as a matter of trust. Your entering into people’s niches that perhaps want to learn from you and your product and because you’re in an area in Facebook through advertising that covers most about what you sell or are offering people then know you’re in an element of trust from people who wish to read about your services or buy your products.
This is the reason your authority and Opt-In are important to find the right audience because it creates a sense of understanding from where customers relate to and hopefully buy your product.
- Over a billion Facebook users
- Facebook Places products in front of niche markets
- Access to a high trust environment
- Powerful data collection and targeting
- Low cost yet high traffic
- Easy to use advertising interface
Working with Facebook Business Manager
Facebook is constantly improving to stay ahead of the game and as a result, there are regular changes to their advertising interface. You must learn how the platform works and stay ahead of the game and focus on the key principles of the platform to allow you to be successful with your online business and marketing of your products or services.
Go to Facebook Business Account and it will ask you to create a business account from the front page. It helps you organize your accounts and adds more effectively. If your business is growing, you can invite people to work closely with you in the ads account so that they can create adds for marketing your products online. You can have multiple business accounts and work with them for ads with your manager accounts tool. You can have as many account managers and staff members as you wish.
Create Adds Account
Go to your Business Manager account and then create Facebook Ads Account from here you can create your adds and place them in front of your audience Click the business settings from your business manager then click the right-hand side taskbar and click on create new add account. Your account will be created in the business manager interface.
You are now ready to place up your ad for trials and when you become confident at them you can channel ads all over the world to people that fit into your niche. It all sounds difficult but so was walking when we were kids and then we mastered walking to be able to run.
The more you familiarise yourself with Facebook adds the more you begin to hit your audience and find potential buyers. Don’t run before you can walk because you’ll keep tripping up. Spend small amounts of money on ads and learn how to keep your costs down until you begin to gain momentum and gain sales from ads.
I understand that SEO is far better and cheaper than Facebook ads if you have the time to wait for results but if you master Facebook ads you can build a massive audience for little money but it takes a lot of research to use the platform and can use a lot of your hard-earned cash if you don’t grasp the meaning fast.

The fact that i have come to learn something tangible from this post is satisfying. The make of your website is nice and the simplicity of the color selection makes it beautiful. i tried to use facebook ads a certain and the setback was the cost i do not know the present cost of engaging that, do you?
Hi Smoochi,
You can create an ad and place a time limit and a price that you want to pay as little as £2.00 a day if you want but it takes a lot of work to master the Facebook platform and getting the right cost per click. Facebook does give you an option for it to drive low clicks for you but the traffic leads to nothing. Also, you have to be careful about affiliate ads as Facebook tend to get confused with MLM and Affiliate programs and boot the ad out for not complying with their regulations

Thank you for this article! I’m thinking perhaps when I’m done writing my junior fiction novella, I may set aside a small budget for ads to help with my marketing. I don’t know why I always think of ads as “cheating”. It’s a weird and unhelpful mindset to have.
My question for you is this: Would you suggest ads to an affiliate marketer who doesn’t have anything of their own to sell? Or do you think it’s better reserved for those who have their own products like ebooks or courses or physical products to sell?
Thank you for your time!
Hi CJ,
My answer to that is simple, you can have other people’s products but create a short eBook about the product or service. I find that presentations go down well especially when promoting a service. About 6 months ago I was selling recruitment websites for TEFL recruiters and 4o a slide presentation. if you want to see it at any time give me a shout even though that project was canceled due to GDPR regulations and passing information from a server to server.

Many thanks to you for sharing such an excellent article with us .I have been working as a user online for a long time, and I have tried to get them out of advertising with various products and through that I commission there. And your registration was very quick in my work, and by reading your article I could do more with my room marketing. And for those who are newbie online, Wealthy Affiliate is a great platform and they will be trained to work and earn income here. And I’m also a premium member of Wealthy Affiliate and I’ve made a lot of money from here.
Hi Shariful,
Interesting about money! I don’t think about the money much because I know it’s helping people and when my projects do make money it’s time to throw a party and I’ve seen success before with a website that was for hotel booking in Thailand and it was making money but it wasn’t to last due to an unfortunate time in my life. I know the money will come pouring in after the time I spend on projects but like I said I also think about people enjoying what I’m writing. Thanks for sharing.

There’s definitely lots of potential for conversions using Facebook ads because of it’s large user base and how targeted you can make your ads. I’ve tried to use Facebook ads before to promote my landing page which is about a training platform that teaches you how to make money online with affiliate marketing, but unfortunately Facebook doesn’t allow ads on certain topics such as make money online products. But for other niches it is a great opportunity.
Hi Son,
Your correct Facebook does steer away from getting rich quick ads and also affiliate marketing where we people sell the dream. I wrote an ad last night and tried to be more realistic and it’s still running but the one I wrote previously to that was canceled by them.

Facebook is thr biggest and most wide of all social media and it has the widest reach to people hence, it is very efficient when used for ads because it can make quite a lit of things possible and also enhance that the right audience were reached. Thanks for sharing this out here. Personally, I make use of facebook ads and they are great. Thanks
Hi Roderick,
I use Facebook ads but I did spend a lot of money before I started getting clicks and to be honest, Facebook does not like affiliates or closer to the point MLM. I have to write my ads carefully even though I don’t promote MLM I do use amazing lifestyle changes for those that work hard at it.
Again Facebook thinks we are promising dreams so does not let the ads run so I have to mellow my content down a bit. Thing is I do believe and know it can change a person in many ways with success and let’s face it there are many ways to express success and it not always about money.

Yes, Facebook has grown into the world’s largest online database and is helpful once the user has learned the ropes on how to write good profitable ads that create activity in the form of website traffic. I am getting quite a lot off one I have launched right now but I’m keeping my eye on my analytics to see where my traffic is coming from either SEO or Facebook ads.

Thank you so much for sharing us a wonderful article. The main content of this article is Facebook Ad for Affiliate Marketing. Facebook is one of the largest and most powerful online advertising platforms that has ever existed. A website where you post information with affiliate links, affiliate marketing through Facebook is also a fantastic way to boost sales. As an affiliate marketer on Facebook, you simply cannot afford to ignore the world’s largest social media channel. Whether you are promoting web hosting or running shoes, there’s an audience for almost all kinds of products and services on Facebook.
I am also a successful affiliate marketer through affiliate marketing through Facebook Ad.
Hi Md Asraful,
It sure is the largest database in the world but can be expensive to the pocket if one uses it without learning the ropes first. I have a good idea but at most I stick with SEO. I have a Facebook ad running now but it’s a trail for one of my ideas to get clicks. I am doing quite well out of it so far looking at my analytics so onwards and upwards.

Some time ago, lets say 20 years, a data base as the one of Facebook was imposible to have. But now it’s available for any marketer at such an affordable price. I think Facebook ads are so effective due to the fact you can almoust hand pick your target audience.
Thanks for this post!
Hi Ann,
Facebook is not my best friend and I would love to know how they organize companies paying £100,000 on ads because that’s a large amount of revenue to claw back so think about how much Facebook is making. My guess is simple for my Facebook future and that is I will only use it when I know I’m going to double my money on every single campaign until I throw lot’s more into it.

Firstly I want to give you thanks for this type of post. For a few days, I am looking for this type of post. Before reading this post I have no idea about Facebook adds. By reading this post I have come to learn so many things about Facebook marketing. I have a small flower shop. But I can not knew how I can reach my target audience who is a flower lover. But reading your article I have found some ways to reach my target audience by Facebook and Instagram. I think this will be very helpful to me.
thanks again for such an informative article
Hi Taufique,
Thanks for commenting on my post. Facebook is a great platform and does work but it takes a lot of work to master your clicks and arranging your ads. The best thing for learning about them is place an ad up for around £5.00 and raise your to pay per click up to around 36p per click.
This sounds a lot but they will be quality leads if you have made a well-written ad. Meanwhile, keep on with your training here and learn about SEO it’ far cheaper and you become a much better writer and web developer.

I have used Facebook for a several years, mainly communication with people I know for years or family.
I have also used it when I was an Independent Affiliate in the CBS business.
I will say that I have never signed up for Facebook business of my own and really sound interesting.
Very well written and developed Facebook page that should peek the interest of many who read it. Especially if they have their own products to market.
Hi Bobby
I think my Facebook page is decent enough but I must say to get people to sign up to become members isn’t easy. I spend more time these days on content writing and search engine optimisation to get ranked on Google which at the beginning is tough. I’m also a member of WA – Wealthy affiliate a place where affiliate marketers meet if you haven’t been there yet. You can join through my pages if you so wish but as I said I’m not sure you’re not already a member. I ask anyone that wants to become an affiliate marketer to read my posts before making a decision on where to get training.
